I've finally had a chance to look at the website to work out how to add The Unwanted Dead and you've done it for me!!! Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. Have a lovely weekend.

Absolutely thrilled to be interviewing my good friend @alishawkinsauthor.bsky.social two weeks today at Aberystwyth Library, organised by the brilliant Waterstones Aberystwyth.
Alis will be talking about the new book in her Oxford Mysteries series – The Hunters Club - which you're going to love!

Unsolicited writing advice from someone who's just regained their writing mojo:

Stop worrying about the market. Just write something you think is fascinating.

If you can, distance yourself from people who sap your confidence about your writing and yourself.

Celebrate every achievement.

That sounds fabulous! The coast and the mountains are also beautiful if you have time. Cadaques and Begur are my favourites!

Thanks for the link. I've just seen that the first Paris book - The Unwanted Dead - isn't on the list.

I'm so glad you're enjoying it! Beautiful place to be locked in! Isn't the Tapestry of the Creation amazing!? Girona is one of those lovely small cities that constantly surprise with tiny squares and narrow streets. Vermut sounds an extremely good idea🥂

😍😍😍 Oh, that's so beautiful! Thank you! Please say hello to the Barri Vell from me. Girona is where I first lived in Catalonia and it still holds a special place for me. I hope you're having a wonderful time over there!

The old town and the city walls are stunning!

Thanks a lot, Caroline!😊 If you ever get the chance to visit, Girona really is beautiful!

I reread it a few years ago and still loved it.

Such a beautiful, lyrical book. One of my favourites. I hope you love it too.

Can't believe how parched the grass is on the clifftop, but the trees are still looking beautiful.

Hope you're having a lovely day, Tom!
I'm just finishing Death and the Conjuror and absolutely loving it - slowing down my reading pace to make it last longer!!!

Huge book birthday congratulations to @tommeadauthor.bsky.social - THE HOUSE AT DEVIL'S NECK is out today! If you haven't met the brilliant Joseph Spector yet, now's your chance!

Afraid not. We were there until Wednesday for Liz's work, but we had to get back home for today. Rotten timing! Really sorry to be missing out! Hope you have a good time.

Finally got to visit the fabulous Criminally Good Books in York, and it is every bit the world of crimey magic I'd hoped it would be... and more! I even got to sit in the authors' chair.
They now have a signed copy of Banquet of Beggars, so you'd best rush on down there to snaffle it for yourself!

Absolutely thrilled to see Eddie in the window of the wonderful @imaginedthings.bsky.social in Harrogate!!! Thank you for such a warm welcome! And what amazing company to be in!

The joy of events like the Repton Festival is that you get to spend time with wonderful writers and lovely people like Guy Hale, Miranda Dickinson, Chris Lloyd and Kate Griffin! I did two panels and generally had a fabulous time in marvellous company. Thank you all!
