Thank you! I'm still a total beginner and I don't think anything I did was THAT impressive, but I did work hard on it lol

I think that's the #1 thing that caught me by surprise as I learned, actually, is how difficult it is just to POSITION THINGS, I never would've imagined it'd be such an obstacle

(I actually had to go fix it just now cause I noticed that the effect was broken on windows 11 cause the taskbar is a slightly different height than in windows 10 and that was enough to fuck up the positioning of the divs because I did not implement them very good originally lol)

That Shen halloween comic is one of my favorite pages on my website because I went to a lot of trouble to make the page's background dim when you get to the part of the comic where the lights go out (only works on desktop) and that was WAY harder to do than you'd think lol

The extra unusual thing about this idea to me is, like. Bluesky doesn't... have ads. Or like any monetization. Isn't the idea behind a blackout in general to make a site lose a bunch of ad revenue? and that wouldn't do anything here? Because there's no ads?
