Every time you put more restrictions or processes to claim disability benefits, it only harms the people they claim to support.

It won't prevent the (tiny number of) people who will still find ways to circumvent the system.

It'll prevent disabled folk getting what they need.

Some days, I am exuberant and vocal and cannot sit still for a moment.
Other days find me in a quiet, darkened room with endless cups of tea, at a loss to complete the simplest task.

I recognise both extremes and all the paths between them.

You’re allowed to identify as disabled, even if you think “others have it worse”.

It’s not something that’s only gatekept by the “most severe”.
Disability is a varied, diverse spectrum.

If your condition(s) affect your life, if they disable you… you are valid.
