Francis Ford Coppola's Megalopolis was easily the most divisive film of 2024, but does it work better as a graphic novel?

The heroes you know. The stories you don’t. Marvel Age of Comics unmasks the histories that shaped a universe.

Shopping for Superman gets brought up in a lot of interesting ways these days. Sometimes, organically, when referring to the quality of one man's hydrodynamics but in the same episode as THE Francis Ford Coppola and THE @chrisryall.bsky.social ...well now that's something special.

Give it a listen!

It's hardly surprising at this point but it's still so dismaying that there is just an endless supply of sycophants, grifters, supplicants, and scumbags at all levels willing to fall in line and do his terrible bidding.

Figured I’d give it a couple days to see if anything lingering hit but three days after getting a double blast of Covid & flu shots, not one after-effect. Barely any arm soreness, either. If you live in a state where you can still get em, I say go get em.

It's so good. So many of those anniversary issues from that time were great but rarely got reprinted because they were unique one-offs. At least this one just got reprinted in this book:

This is so dumb. Happy book birthday Andrew, Delilah, Keith, Rachel, M.L., Eric and everyone else, there’s just way too many horror books out today…

As a frequent purveyor of dumb comics, I needed to hear this.

Happy Star Trek Day to all who celebrate.
The closest I got to being an actual part of the original series is when I was "cast" as Janice Rand's comatose and then departed fiancé in a couple issues of John Byrne's Star Trek: New Visions photonovels...
