It might be my autism brain but it at times was legitimately baffling why what, to me is the first 2D Mario to feel like a 3D Mario everywhere else was SO lacking in bosses
I am 90% positive the koopalings and (maybe) Rosalina were originally part of Mario wonder and just got taken out to be put back in a switch 2 release

That movie was amazing. Go into it if you like movies that are experiences, if you’re ok with a movie where things ARE slow, where there ARE lines you’re not supposed to understand
