Today I am starting a thread of my Top 25 Exploitation Films. I am going to try and cover a decent range of sub-genres and pick films I think are the best examples of those sub-genres. I will be going from 25 to 1 and I will update it daily. Thread starts below. 🎥 #Filmsky
Another enjoyable foray into this gothic and charming world but I have to say, I think the first is superior. Still, a lot to love. The resolution to the Wednesday sub plot is pretty satisfying, great performances once again. Also I'd quite happily be murdered by Joan Cusack in this. 📽️ #Filmsky

Just so good. The film making for the final chase sequence is some of the finest film making of the year. This is perfectly paced, thrilling, passionate, angry and often deeply funny. The cast is excellent, Sean Penn 100% has that best supporting actor award on lock! I adored this. 📽️ #Filmsky

It's kinda fascinating her obvious panic that the anti-Jewish Nazi block (As in, every Nazi who isn't Jewish) are more openly turning against Jewish Nazis like Loomer who thoughts as long as they hated trans and Muslim people the perfect amount, the anti-Jewish Nazis would be their best buds forever

One of those where I'm not going to say it's a bad film, other than some editing I found disagreeable this is a very well made film, especially in regards to how it's shot and the music for it. But I just was never fully hooked, I especially didn't care much for the romance. It's fine, not for me.

One of those where I'm not going to say it's a bad film, other than some editing I found disagreeable this is a very well made film, especially in regards to how it's shot and the music for it. But I just was never fully hooked, I especially didn't care much for the romance. It's fine, not for me.

I do wonder if they would make a film today that is intended largely for younger audiences, and include a scene where the two kids characters pretend to slice each other's arteries open and spray blood about for 2 minutes like it's Kill Bill?
That's maybe my favourite scene, very funny stuff.

The whole cast is excellent but this is one of the best examples of "Oh this person is a star" I've seen, in regards to Christina Ricci. She's so good in this!
