rough ms paint drawings as concept for a comic. this page shows 3 adventurers facing a giant dragon, who is only in silhouette. unbeknownst to them, it is a shapeshifter. a wide spread of a girl with a greatsword confronted mid-swing by sylvan, now in a humanoid form. he is mid-air in his approach and addresses her only as "You." the girl is on the ground, pinned under sylvan's arms. he says "you're HIS kin. who are you?" the girl asks "i'm...whose kin..?" sylvan says "calem." the girl says "i don't know who-" only to be interrupted. sylvan glares at her and shouts in anger, "calem of ewandel! the man who conquered the King's Labyrinth! it's not yet bee so long that mortalkind would forget!" in the first panel, sylvan holds out his adventurer tag. it's a wooden round bearing the adventurers' guild crest - a sword crossed over an axe with a flame beneath it. his has golden decorations to mark his triumph over the king's labyrinth. the other two adventurers, a half-demon man and a satyr woman say, "it's real..." and "how do we know that's really yours?" the girl with the greatsword appears unsettled. the last panel is a close up of sylvan's face as he holds up the backside of the adventurer tag, where his name is written. he says "my name is sylvan secondborn. you may know me as calem's "mage"."
