I know we make a lot of sometimes hellishly noisy kit, but if you make "white power electronics" or similar laughably tragic right wing bullshit then please feel free to just fuck off and grow up. We really don't need or want your money.
I'm wondering if the Germans have a word for that feeling of slightly icky discomfort and sad exhaustion you get from an eBay listing where the seller has very obviously used the AI for the description, and the reams of soulless marketing bullshit just make you never want to buy from them, ever.

Just remembered years ago arguing with eBay customer service regarding the fact that you're not allowed the username circuitbenderscouk, because the couk bit might tempt people off eBay to a website. They then said with a straight face that for that same reason discoukraine wasn't allowed either. 🤔

One of our old stickers. No, we don't have any left.

We invented the Theremin, composed the original Dr Who theme music, and taught Bob Moog everything he knew about audio electronics.
Any claims to the contrary are FAKE NEWS spread by militant leftists.

This is how you do reality these days isn't it? 🤔

Just had an order on etsy from a country named ÅLAND... no, me neither.
Apparently its an autonomous region of Finland that counts as its own country, which is fine, except nobody appears to have informed Royal Mail or any other shipping company of this and they've never heard of it...

Shit! Why did nobody mention this before?!

From the Casio SK1 manual...

It turns out the contact form on our website hasn't been working properly for the past 3 or 4 weeks and emails have been saying they've been sent, but actually just vanishing.
Its fixed now so we haven't replied then you might want to try again. Sorry about that, we had no idea.

The main thing that one of your posts somehow escaping onto the 'Discover' feed tells you is that a hell of a lot of American Democrat profiles, who absolutely definitely aren't bots or some kind of weird follow back circle jerk, really love a bit of random noise. 😉

Lovely stuff from @invictushifi.bsky.social and his new circuitbenders modded Yamaha R100, with the kind of flukey serendipitous ending that makes you suddenly feel a need to point a finger at someone and say... "nice".
Just invented what I'm calling 'GlunkStep' with this newly arrived little messed up FX monster from @circuitbenders.co.uk

Yamaha R100 Reverb Processor modifications are available as a standard mod set on the site!
Whats your excuse for not getting them done... other than not owning a R100, or wanting to own a R100, or not being remotely interested in the stupid sounds they make? Other than all that, whats your excuse?🤔

Sitting here repeatedly refreshing our email waiting for the Yodel "We've delivered your parcel" email, because I know they're going to somehow just dump it outside the wrong building, and the second they do I need to get out there and track it down.

Its 2026 and this is how deliveries work.

Looking at this Behringer GO midi host thing and literally nowhere on the official Behringer page, on any website sales page or even in the actual feckin' manual does it explicitly state what it actually does and how it functions! I found out eventually, but only via reading reviews that explain it.

Anyone know of a cheap 37 full sized keys midi controller without bender and modulation wheels? Doesn't matter how old.
Possibly a niche request, but many years ago i planned to turn my Powertran Transcendent 2000 synth into a desktop module and i sold the actual keyboard in a moment of madness.
January 18, 2026 at 5:19 PM
Aliexpress sellers can't stretch to the expense of a single anti-static bag to ship a load of IC's, but they can pointlessly individually bag and label every single feckin' one of 300 knobs!

The currency conversion rate from normal people £'s into DJ £'s must be really bad at the moment if Pioneer simply have to charge over £1000 for their new effects thing. A thing that'd mysteriously be 1/3 of the price if was sold to any customer base other than DJ's.

An absolute classic from Emergency Broadcast Network, inventors of video sampling and inexplicably also apparently the originators of Adobe After Effects.

The music is actually by Jack Dangers of Meat Beat Manifesto if the CD liner notes are to be trusted.

Getting a bit exhausted by the 5th email this week from someone asking for help with something, but then comes the inevitable "I asked chatGPT and it said...".
That's not the same as doing research! Every single time it's been completely but very confidently wrong.

Just because its January and you've got no money after Christmas, thats no excuse! We have STUFF for sale here, including a couple of our Roland Patch boxes and Demon Seed pedals back in stock!

Imagine if mankind could somehow harness the mythical unending power reserves of the 1980's Yamaha memory backup battery. Predicted in service manuals to last 10 years at most.... 40 years later we've still never found one that actually needed replacing.

You know when your SH101 says it wants a DC power supply and NOT an AC one?

It really means it...

That moment a small package arrives from China, and before you even open it you're thinking that this probably isn't going to turn out well! 😒
January 13, 2026 at 12:08 PM
Sorry, I'm not paying $30 for a PDF of a service manual that you don't own any copyright to that you describe as "Photocopy Poor Scan".

These people are absolute scum.
