Hi Lawrence-Wanted to comment on the Letitica James house issue. If the home will be your primary residence, you get a tax break (a mortgage or homestead exemption). If you're renting it out, you do not get that benefit & taxes usually double. (I'm a realtor in Indiana & that's how it works here).

I totally agree with you! I was thinking the same thing. When she asked one of the senators: "Are you calling me a liar?" I was so hoping the response would be, "Yes, I am." They all seemed way too polite to me. She is a lying, cheating, corrupt fool and should be called out as one. Ugh!

Book recommendation. I'm reading David McCullough's wonderful & relevant book, "History Matters" - talks & essays on "American Values," "The Good Work of America," & figures inc. Washington, Truman, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Vincent Scully, Arthur Schlesinger, Thomas Eakins & Herman Wouk. Good stuff.
