I noticed something similar when I lost my parents. Seeing two birds together as I go on my walks still brings me a feeling of peace and hope.

Watching hummingbirds can be mesmerizing -- they are the only birds able to fly backwards! As my Mom's health declined, she enjoyed looking out her window and seeing the "hummers" hovering around her hanging plants and feeders. #Nature truly has calming and restorative powers.

Hummingbirds may be tiny, but they’re incredibly strong with a high level of endurance. This makes them symbols of strength and adaptability.

Hummingbirds also can signify a visit from a departed loved one & the beginning of a new era.

Today would have been John Lennon's 85th birthday, and my Mom's 96th. Though they obviously didn't share the same level of fame, they are both deeply missed in this world, and both left a legacy of a life well-lived.
