Growing up, my sister always called me Bub or Bubby.
My nephew has always called me Uncle Bubba because that’s just how “Caleb” translates when you’re learning how to talk.
Today was the first time I’d seen him since the funeral, and he called me Bubby.
And it broke me in two.
