the first victim *must* be X. it is in violation of child pornography laws, it is led by a person with an unabashed interest in undermining european national sovereignty, and unlike tiktok it only has an elite rather than popular userbase that would squeal if it got nuked

You guys ever think about this

This is a 5th grader dressed as John Fetterman, you can't convince me otherwise
Should be bigger news that the bureau chief of Toronto Sun is celebrating an unarmed woman being executed in the street

I don't know anything about law enforcement training but I do think that if you go out in public with a gun on your hip and the ability to use violence on behalf of the state, you should have the emotional and cognitive wherewithal to deal with people saying mean things to you without killing anyone

sexually frustrated liberal women (of all varieties) - hey 👀
That actually kind of sounds like your fantasy, Naomi.

People made jokes when Charlie Kirk got zapped and it was the end of all human decency, I was told. Shouldn't joke about people getting murdered, from what I understood.

Dave Grossman is, and has always been, a fucking joke. A mentor (now a GO) saw me reading his book as a young cadet, and told me as much in very plain language, I'll never forget it. "That guy is full of shit. EIB, no CIB. He doesn't know what the fuck he is talking about."
law enforcement use of force training literally instructs the police to be sexually motivated murderers

Or what Bin Laden would say about a Zero Unit veteran killing a National Guardsman on the street in DC
I need to get this thought out of my head

What do you think Mohamed Farrah Aidid would say about a US Army widow getting essentially Mozambique'd by federal law enforcement for protesting the harassment of Somali immigrants 30+ years after the Battle of Mogadishu

When was the last time you had a desk pop?
Welcome to Minnesota, fuckers. Also this is super disturbing because the ICE agent's assault rifle appears to fire as he falls down.

This was filmed by a friend near Chicago and Lake last night.

[unironically] You Smoke Too Tough. Your Swag Too Different. Your Bitch Is Too Bad. They’ll Kill You.
I saw this video of a Vietnam vet in the fur coat yelling at ICE and thought to myself, "this is missing something," before I realized, "Ah, of course, the Ether instrumental. It's so obvious."

Again, reclass them all out of 1811, no guns, no badges. Here's your hammer, your assignment is to turn big rocks into little rocks in Gates of the Arctic National Park. Thanks for your service.
Yeah, I’ve been wondering what a Dem inherits if he wins in 2028; I assume Trump would pardon and indemnify every agent on the way out.
The key issue is whether those who have broken the law and their oath will be suitably punished.

Holder failed to punish the guilty in the 2008 Great Recession.

Merritt failed to punish the guilty in the Trump regime.

Therein lies the rub.

"if these guys (ICE) weren't here, none of these people (protestors) would be here"

that neatly sums up the US foreign policy experience for the past 25 years, and now applies to domestic policy.

"I took an oath in 1969" brought tears to my eyes man
Veteran: My oath impels me to be here. I took an oath in 1969 to defend this country against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I had to be here to make sure that no one else was killed the way Renee Nicole Good was killed yesterday.

note the different approaches

First cop is aggressive, kicks the candle and initiates physical contact with the protestor

Second cop is more conciliatory and successfully guides the protestor away

You don't have to be an asshole to people peacefully exercising their first amendment rights
Right after Renée Good’s disgusting murder, a ICE goon was filmed kicking her memorial candles.
Absolutely vile.

Reupping this for no particular reason
I'm not in the business of making policy recommendations and I know this won't be a priority for any future Dem house majorities but if I were in the business of making such recommendations, passing a law forbidding federal LE from wearing DoD camo patterns and wearing masks would be high in my list

There's no gentle way to say this, and it's certainly not a point of pride:

I have watched people die violent deaths in person and on screens for a long time. Lots of others on here are in the same boat.

Do we seem normal and well-adjusted to you?

You don't have to watch the video.

member of a profession or partisan political prop?
January 7, 2026 at 7:38 PM
God damn it we will have accountability for this
The moral response to a revenge that violates professional ethics and breaks the law in pursuit of satisfaction is accountability.

Those who violate the law, who dishonor the profession, who break faith with the American people must be held accountable to the fullest extent possible
revenge as a philosophy of government

it's not grievance, it's revenge. revenge because trans people exist, because you can't say the R word anymore, because black folks have social mobility, because Obama got a peace prize, because of Russiagate, because we aren't deferential to billionaires

You guys thought I was joking when I said Banana Wars and constabulary operations are back on the menu. Congrats to the USMC for the opportunity to embrace their heritage, I guess.
Rick Scott: "This is the start of changing Venezuela, then we're gonna fix Cuba, Nicaragua will get fixed, next year we'll get a new president in Colombia. Democracy is coming back to this hemisphere."

Reminds me of the time that Dort didn't understand why SAMS students (maybe USAWC, I don't remember) were wasting their time by hoing on a staff ride. Great stuff, incredible content.
I'm not super sure how you can. There's basic aspects of the military that don't translate well unless you experience them for yourself like how difficult it actually is to move X brigade to Y position or "how do I return fire at an adversary I can't see who is 1.5 miles away from me"
