Sparkling somewhere on the trans-spectrum.

Supportive, but cynical. Prone to hyper-fixation, impractical adventures and spending years hiding under the duvet.

Only interested in people who get it, not people who want it.

By the way, if you're checking out my profile to see what sort of person I am... this is going to be very confusing for you.
Spelunk quark aardvark.

It'll drive me nuts. Cocky little shit.

UK ranks down with Russia for gender recognition.

Farage will be proud. We have to hold mainstream media responsible in a large part for setting the tone of tolerance here (and no, it's not a "debate" to discuss if a minority exists or not).

TV Show: The bathroom debate

Three men and three women debate whether trans people should have access to public spaces.

The twist: two of the men are transmasc (stealth), all the others cis. The presenter (transfem, stealth) tells them "There is a trans woman in this debate, you don't know who."

Key transphobes in the BBC? Who are the people driving their stance on trans issues?

Board of Directors: Robbie Gibb, Muriel Grey

Past, Newsnight: Hannah Barnes, Emily Maitlis

Ally(?) Victoria Derbyshire - sympathetic coverage previously

One thing my personal experience of being trans has boiled into me is the perpetual feeling that there is the potential for things to be so much better than they are currently.

..which makes it hard when we're all being disenfranchised, told to stay in our lane and to accept how things are.
November 26, 2025 at 12:02 AM
Oh FFS. We are our own worst enemies at times.

World Strongest Woman winner discovered to be trans after taking the title. Knowing how intense the argument over trans participation in competitive sport is surely she knew that a win would be contentious and hiding her status would make things worse?

What if we built up a force of queer, trans, nonbinary and non-conventional engineers, designers, creatives and collaborators that could collectively decide to unleash their power on projects that shift the balance of power to individuals and communities?

A Tidal Force For Change.. would you join?
Hello network. This is real shit. I’m looking for transgender, nonbinary, or gender nonconforming front and back end web designers for a project to help trans people get housing in NJ. This is a paid opportunity.

Please share this if you see it, and my DMs are open for more information. Tysm 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵

Anything that might screw over Musk is fine by me.

Ahhh.. BBC.
On Bregman, I was there in the audience and I can’t see what the BBC have gained by removing this line except more bad publicity. I will say that no such edits or censorship occurred when I gave the Reith Lectures and free-speech defenders might want think about whether this is the world they want.

I cannot afford this wig, someone make me feel better by telling me it would look terrible on me. It would, wouldn't it? With gothic makeup....

It wouldn't work with bangs and my pink-heavy wardrobe either. Stop looking at it. Stop.

Just to venture briefly into politics...

I'm looking at the most powerful, richest and well connected people on the planet - different parties, industries, ethnic backgrounds, religions, ages..

And I'm thinking: What the actual fuck is wrong with you all?

I could be doing dumb shit and having fun, and instead I'm faced with crappy little morons like Streeting going out of their way to make people's lives more miserable.
Trans Safety Network are extremely concerned that DHSC are continuing to solicit input on trans healthcare from Bayswater and other anti trans groups after a reply to our previous concerns stated they would not work with groups who promote harmful practices or discriminatory views
Wes Streeting continues to ignore safeguarding concerns about parents group linked to abusive practices
Trans Safety Network has seen evidence Wes Streeting and the DHSC solicited feedback on a “puberty blocker risk form” from Bayswater Support Group and other anti-trans groups in September 2025, 6 mont...

One way the elite have conspired to protect their asses is to let the gap between them and individual people become a moat.

It's harder now to build community groups, small organisations, companies that can challenge the big guys.

Paperwork, fees, protections, barriers that make it harder 🧵
November 24, 2025 at 11:29 AM
This is desperate stuff. Given the hysteria over any sort of trial, if this goes ahead it would cement a ban on gender care for an entire generation.
Streeting is admitting that the Pathways “trial” already has a predetermined outcome. Stuffing it with SEGM placeholders is evidence of this.

The only way we are going to end state-mandated torture of trans kids is to get Labour out of government completely.

It's been a pretty shitty weekend for the lunatic fringe.

MAGA support turns out to be mainly Twitter Bots.
The people who liked the Cass Report don't like the consequences of the Cass Report.
Musk caught making Grok lie to everyone.
Trump is openly hallucinating.
And the Western Press are silent.
November 23, 2025 at 8:57 PM
If I had the time, I'd produce a database crossreferencing anti-trans talking points with the 'evidence' they cite, so we can cut out the intermediary stage of wondering where on earth they pulled a random nonsensical statistic from.

Plus an up to date list of dodgy 'scholars' and their funding.

It's interesting that the anti-trans brigate are so upset about this puberty blocker trial.

Why are they so upset about something that looks designed to help their cause? What is it about science and factual evidence that worries them, I wonder? 🤔
November 22, 2025 at 4:13 PM
This is horrific if true. This trial appears so determined to produce a negative outcome that it is willing to put children through abusive interventions and pyschologically damaging fake-medicine.

How twisted must your ideology be to think this is normal behaviour? This is a low for UK medicine.
Some leaked (not verified) info on the puberty blocker trial linked here. In my own thread I will briefly highlight the two key measures they are prioritising. A short thread 1
A Substacker named Ben Ryan tweeted that "the long-awaited UK puberty blocker clinical trial protocol is out."

Shortly thereafter he deleted the post. I can't find a public version of the protocol but here's what I was able to salvage from the screenshot + post.

Kinda want more casual t-shirty tops, but every time I put one on I look like a sack of potatoes.

Big oversize tops - cool.
Crop tops - yeah, I'm old but I don't care.
Everything else - sack of potatoes.

...and why does "dressing your age" involve looking like a soon to be retired accountant?

This is pretty cool...

The good thing coming out of these political times is that a bunch of people feel able to say out loud what they really think.

No more dressing it up in careful phrases of care and support - it's straight up misogynistic, authoritarian bullshit.

Don't forget who they are and who is tolerating them
November 21, 2025 at 12:09 PM
Trans day of fuck you, you don't get to define who I am.

So, F1nn5ter (Trans Influencer you'll probably recognise) has revealed they're behind anne.health which quietly launched a year ago to provide private access to gender care in the UK at a time when care is being witheld from many vulnerable people.

That's pretty impressive. Well done to them.

I questioned my gender...
