I will keep repeating this forever: republicans supported and passed permanent tax cuts for the rich but refuse to extend the Obamacare subsidies for americans whose premiums are about to triple after expiration. That alone tells you where their priorities are at.

This is Alex Acosta. He gave a child sex abuser and child sex trafficker a plea deal in 2008 to lessen his charges therefore his sentence. Epstein was granted immunity for all federal charges. He was sentenced to serve only 18 months in a county jail. The victims were not informed of this plea deal.

For what it's worth, the human rights violations being committed by our current administration are only seen at the tips of the various icebergs, of which there are many.

Brace yourselves for what we find when they are no longer in control.

Imagine a serial child sex abuser and sex trafficker of CHILDREN saying you are "worse in real life and up close," that's what Epstein said about the adjudicated rapist and 34 count felon donald trump.

You have to be so evil to speak like this without any regard to the hundreds of thousands of deaths caused by their choice to cut USAID funding.
Q: Do you stand by your statement from earlier this year that nobody has died from USAID cuts?

RUBIO: I'm very proud of the changes we've made in foreign aid

Jack Smith wants to testify in public - Republicans refuse.

He wants his depo tape made public - no again.

The second strike boat video? - nope.

Epstein files law complied with? - not today.

Vote on ACA? - maybe next year.

Republicans: Hide, obstruct, lie, delay, deny.

yelling that Trump is doing something "against the law" is meaningless if there are no consequences

Today is the deadline to release the Epstein files. The DOJ is refusing to comply.

This is about justice for survivors and holding participants and co-conspirators accountable.

The Epstein Files Act is the law, not a suggestion.

Release the files. Immediately.

Just like it’s still the department of defense

There is a popular saying in Spanish that goes "eres o te haces" which means: are you stupid as fuck or are you pretending to be? (Ok I may have added some words) Anyway, that is my question to the house gop bc how are you passing PARTISAN legislation in the house that you need senate dems to pass.

I have been avoiding watching and listening to a single clip of that oompa loompa 34 count felon adjudicated rapist potus and that alone has helped my wellbeing. Deeply thankful for articles and reading for keeping me informed without having to watch a burnt orange whining and demanding attention.

Interesting how when someone harms another person (abuse, murder, etc) that just so happens to be part of a marginalized community our government demonizes and dehumanizes ALL in that community but when 99% of school shooters that murder children are WHITE and MALE we don't demonize all white men.

BREAKING: The House of Representatives just passed a bill that would subject immigrant children to invasive bodily searches and keep them in detention instead of releasing them to their families.

The Senate must vote no on this horrific bill.

Sometimes one little sentence is as clear as day leaving no room for interpretation. That little sentence is even more powerful when it has years of history of someone repeating the same sentiment.

"there's more there than one little sentence" is what Erika Kirk said about a Charlie Kirk quote where she said there's more context yet admits doesn't know the context when defending it. The quote by Charlie Kirk was:

Some gun deaths were "unfortunately, worth it to preserve the second amendment"

W/ tourism to the U.S. in an all time low. The criminal felon and rapist potus is mandating tourists to "share their social media history for the past 5 yrs, emails they have used for the past 10 yrs and the personal information of immediate family members, including phone numbers and residences"

I have to remind myself that American Christianity is not the same thing as Christianity. Although I am not shocked at all by the numbers in this polling, I refuse to let this country desensitize me to the hypocrisy and cruelty of certain people that claim to be Christian and a follower of Jesus.
Religion and views on the role of government

I think Republicans voting against the ACA's subsidies extension just shows how confidently bold they are at not giving a shit about Americans including their own voters (which no surprise there) but with midterm elections coming up I did expect a little negotiation from their side.
