had a blast watching movies with my friends tonight. both twister movies.

however, the movies were about tornadoes and NOT the game at all, which was very confusing. i thought this took place in the battleship cinematic universe

Do you think it physically hurts to be this stupid?

Gonna ride Muppets 3D all day until they make me stop.

The Switch 2 FOMO is hitting pretty hard today. I know there is no reason for me to own one, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want one.

I love when somebody writes an article that you just keep a link to and send to people that want to argue about stupid stuff. They probably won't read it, but it's nice to know it exists.

And I agree with every single word of this.

This is really interesting. I remember selling copies of the game at Software Etc, but I don’t remember any release delays. Then again, 30 years is a very long time.
Full Throttle released 30 year ago today! How do we know that for sure? That's... a really good question!

Our support-wizard @kestrelpi.bsky.social recently dug through the internet to figure out: hey, when exactly did this game release?

When Was Full Throttle Released?

Played about 3 hours of Doom: The Dark Ages today. It's a very cool game with some fun mechanics, but I don't think I'm going to put another 18-20 hours into it, but I can absolutely see why people would. High school me would have LOVED this game.

I have really, really missed podcasting. Check out our first new episode post-hiatus.
After taking a year-long hiatus, Byte Me #Podcast is back! Watch for new episodes every two weeks.

We spent a bunch of times talking about the games we've been playing, including AC: Shadows, Avowed, South of Midnight and Dredge and talked about system price increases.

Make sure your RPG battle transitions, scene composition, and attack animations are at least as cool as this Taiwanese DOS RPG from 1995

Beacon Pines was a really unique game that I adored. It had an incredible story, was extremely cute and had a really interesting story mechanic. Go grab it for $7.99 (60% off).

I started playing Dredge over the weekend, and I just can't recommend it highly enough. I hate fishing minigames for the post part, but the ones in Dredge are really fun (and have great accessibility options). Definitely one to check out when it hits #GamePass this month.
