idk how to tell you all this but the guy who did the 'look on my works, ye mighty' thing had it all wrong, because that guy's actual name was ramesses 2. he is literally one of the most famous guys of all time. his works did in fact kind of make many people despair,

Sort of a related tangent, I've noticed a thing that tends to happen with tropes conventions:
- Thing happens
- Thing keeps happening, becomes trope
- Trope is overused
- Media subverts trope
- Subversion becomes so popular it's difficult to find the trope played straight
- Thing happens

there's "what the thing is" and then there's "the surface stuff"
take a 'western,' right? some people will be like:
1) cowboy

just remember that supporting trans rights is statistically the winning position and people who oppose trans rights haven't been doing so hot in the polls
I support Trans rights as much as anyone but it's an electoral loser. It helps Republicans who are ok with shooting trans.
