First-rate read. Eyes widen open folks. These Federal agents have become Trump's goon squad -- just like you've suspected all along.

I say again, if I ever run into an FBI agent I will say, "What happened to you guys? Y'all used to be heroes." The good ones had better stand up.

ICE & BP are done.

Senator Kelly’s remarks in the video are “a 100% accurate representation of what the law says."

“No American citizen should have to deal with this type of preposterous investigation.”

This is heartbreakingly cruel and hypocritical. The same admin that has redefined refugee status to cover white South Africans is now going to drown thousands of refugees already approved for their status in red tape, potentially even seeking to strip some of their status and deport them.
Trump Admin planning a rule to re-decide whether *every* refugee who entered under Biden meets their criteria for a refugee. That’s 230,000 people! And no appeals!

Yes! And the media coverage should reflect how absurd and Ill-advised and unwelcome such a war would be, rather than, Iraq-style, casting it as inevitable.

Today he made the video available through the clerk's office at no cost to the public. Here's the first.

Utterly ludicrous framing from @nytimes.com here, treating Pete Hegseth's arguments as if they're legitimate. The casual reader will be left with no inkling whatsoever of how unusual and corrupt an abuse of the process this truly is:

Author @michaelscherer.bsky.social is a vaccine skeptic, ffs: "I’ve admittedly been inconsistent in getting my yearly COVID and flu boosters, confused about their benefits."
alas, there's a lot of sanewashing in this piece - even as it expresses frustration in RFK, it treats him as a legitimate, good faith actor in a way that's just not true.
Over many interviews, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told Michael Scherer about how he plans to remake America’s public-health system. Can he lead the scientific establishment he’s spent much of his life crusading against?
