For sure, yeah. I just hope nobody sees the hostility and decides they don't want to find out if this place is any different. It's infinitely better, IMO.

I hope this doesn't turn into the same toxic cesspool that is that place.

What drove me away from ActivityPub was Mastodon's culture of harassment against developers. It got to the point where deviating from the "Mastodon way" of doing AP got people uploading illegal stuff to developer's instances to try to get them arrested.

Probably overkill for your use case but it’d be cool to see someone deploy open edX to create and sell courses.
Or even better, creating a distribution of it that supports login with atproto 😄
