I like to think domestic eevees can't do this as easily due to their lines being so mixed up. Which is why we do see egg moves from most of the typings.

Building off this, I like the idea of wild Pokemon not needing stones to evolve. Let's say you have a flareon colony, the eevees would have a better affinity to fire (maybe even a rare chance of knowing ember), so after a strong elemental event they can naturally evolve into flareons

Another little ramble.
I love the idea of domesticated vs wild Pokemon. If I ever do my Pokemon comic, I want that to be a thing.
Also eeveelutions having slight traits of their parent evolutions is also great. This is enhanced if both parents are the same species.

I organised a booking to get my name changed. Kinda feels unreal. Will probably need to talk to my family about it. Have weird discussion on gender. But I've like gone by this name in close circles for almost 4 years now. My legal name makes me uncomfortable.
