After having enough trouble with Firefox, I've decided to give Helium a try. https://helium.computer/. It's the fastest browser I've ever used and I appreciate the support for Chrome extensions. It's missing vertical tabs, but that's a Chrome problem.

If I received $1 every time my Sonos speakers did not work correctly, I'd have hundreds of dollars in my pocket. I am never buying a Sonos product again. It feels like they strive to make their speakers as unreliable as possible.

I don't understand why some motorcyclists ride w/o a camera on their bike or helmet.

For me, the order of importance is:
1. Wear your gear.
2. Pay attention.
3. Use a chin camera.

Riding without a camera is like owning a home without insurance. If anything happens, the video is priceless.

It amazes me how AQI can change so dramatically in only 8 minutes. If I go a mile west, I see the exact same drop 2 hours earlier. I guess a different breeze is all it takes.

Over about 6 hours I vibe coded a tool that looks at the work location for each of my teammates and shows when everyone will be in the office every week. The app supports Google OAuth, multiple offices, visitor callouts, auto-refresh, light/dark modes, and even celebrates peoples' birthday.
A dark-themed web app titled “CM Team Office Schedule” shows a week-view grid labeled “Week of January 5 – January 9, 2026.” The main area is divided into five vertical columns for Monday through Friday, each headed with the weekday name and date. I really like Hungryroot. I've tried Blue Apron, Hello Fresh, Factor, and CookUnity, but all of them provide poor quality food. Hello Fresh couldn't even provide fresh veggies. Hungryroot is the closest to feeling like mom going to the grocery store each week. Service is great and food is solid.

Switched from WisprFlow (subscription) to VoiceInk/SuperWhisper (pay once) tonight. VoiceInk's offline transcription on my Mac is eye-blink fast. It doesn't have an iPhone app, so I use SuperWhisper there instead. Amazing how offline transcription is faster, cheaper, and just as accurate.

Had my 36K mile service done and the tank bag didn't fit when I got home. Noticed the top two screws on the magnetic ring had been backed out and not refastened. A wrong screw was put back into the lower right position. Why was it removed in the first place? I'm not impressed. #motorcycle
