The traffic was thick in SF last night. Had to pull out the "whisker technique" to fit through some tight gaps. https://youtu.be/b8ziLw-OzMw #motorcycle

There was a fire at the liquor store at Roosevelt Plaza. I've heard that there were two bodies found in the store. Not many details are known right now. go.citizen.com/IecXw49b0Xb #bayarea #rwc

Remember when downloading a file over 1 GB was an all-day affair? Now I find myself impatient when I can't download 100 GB in 15 minutes or less.

The people most concerned about the safety of children are also the people responsible for creating a nightmare of a future for those children.

Channel 5's interview with Pete Buttigieg was great. Definitely worth a watch: https://youtu.be/DlL376A1hMo?si=Petg5hXmXqoup1rR

Creators on YouTube are sure freaking out about Sora. Sure, there's a ton of slop on Sora, but there's also some brilliant videos. I think creators are nervous that complex video production has now been made available to the masses and they're scared of losing control of that space.

Sora appears to have a 100 drafts per 24 hours rate limit. I’m addicted. Wish I could pay for more.

It felt like we had a cold summer in Redwood City. The data says otherwise.

Maximum/minimum temperatures were down just a bit. Overall though, summer in RWC was a touch warmer than last year. 🤷🏻‍♂️ #BayArea #CAwx

Told Claude to honk like a goose every so often when talking to me. Makes me chuckle every time.

In the past, being able to travel was seen as a luxury for the rich. With the rise of delivery services, not having to travel anywhere is the new sign of wealth and luxury. It's both disgusting and extremely appealing.

Is anyone else as confused as I am about why sink faucets are not operated using foot controls?

Discovered Zonderling's music podcast called Zender. Put this on a pair of nice speakers and chill out. It's amazing: https://soundcloud.com/zenderfm (Side note: SoundCloud is really good! I signed up for a subscription tonight.)

After implementing payment and email notification systems on my website over the weekend, I have no idea how any website anywhere exists. This stuff is difficult. Handling payments and emails is very complicated and a huge amount of work.

I’ve heard The Verge call Apple’s latest design system “liquid ass”, but I love everything about it. Liquid Glass looks and feels great, animations are snappy on an old phone, and I’m finding it easier to navigate. I really enjoy iOS26.

It’s not their best work, but the latest Animagraffs about the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge is neat: youtu.be/RjbJwnUd3Pw?...

I had no idea the towers were so hollow.

The new AirPods are incredible. The noise canceling is significantly better than the previous generation. Sound quality is maybe 3-4 times better than the last gen. Definitely worth buying.
