And now that's just expected? Legacy sequels to sitcoms that ended DECADES earlier? Sitcoms (that most disposable of art forms) treated like IP?

The best thing about Jellystone was that it made two creative decisions that really made it feel cohesive to how history is going to recall the legacy of Hanna-Barbera beyond Scooby-Doo.
