No, what I'm going to make fun of is THAT'S the flex. "First girlfriend."

He's so chronically online that he's aware that's a flex, but he's also so chronically online that he - someone obsessed with his own optics on a molecular level - isn't aware that's a horrifying self-burn to most people.

I think the implication they were using is more "if we don't memorialize these as HB, they aren't getting remembered at all." Which... I mean, Thundarr has a level of cachet that Goldie Gold and Action Jack will never have. At least, that was my takeaway as someone who only knew those via Boomerang.

No, he's not actively malicious in the ways Musk or the Ellisons are, but he's emotionally malformed by his status in life, and if there's one thing billionaires cannot handle, it's being told that they're aberrant.

So when his grift can no longer function under the level of predatory capitalism we exist at, he cracks. The world has broken his kayfabe. He thinks we have all agreed to the social contract under which his ego functions. Under which it HAS to function to not feel guilt, shame or empathy for others.
