My law firm is currently litigating 13 redistricting cases and an additional 50 voting and election cases. 63 lawsuits and those numbers are growing. While this is a lot for a firm with fewer than 60 lawyers, I am proud that we helping to defend free and fair elections and democracy in court.🗳️⚖️💪

The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

No other interpretation than cruel!!! Why does the government care if offer discounts - unless to punish people. Stores should find creative way around that! People who have had government payments reduced- that is broader than SNAP - covers fed employees etc.
