fuuuuuck I hate writing up a resume. I'm already allergic to the LinkedIn flavored competence kabuki theatre.
Reduce six years at a company with all of its joys and tears and all the shit that lead to the angry breakoff into a few sentences.

Entire tree knocked over in this last rain rainstorm, nearly smashing the car on the other side of the road.
Many Lime scooters lost their lives last night.

RIP Roastery! It was a bit of a screwball vanity project but an absolute gem and it got tourists out of Pike Place and into the surrounding neighborhoods. I guess they’re cutting Princi, the fancy merchandise fancy drinks across the board. Not sure how much is unionization or company direction

Starbucks closes one of its most popular Seattle stores
"While this was a difficult decision to make, we remain dedicated to serving you," Starbucks wrote in a memo posted at the shuttered entrance.

Just got my badge for Emerald City Comic Con. www.emeraldcitycomiccon.com
Seems to have a cryptid theme this year - featuring a drumming mermaid(?) in a bathtub who is notably not using a kick drum.

In all the animal kingdom, no mother is more devoted than the blue jay.
Valuing her eggs above even her own life,
the mother bird bravely fights off such fearsome predators as the badger and the mongoose.
Of course, one thing mother blue jay can't defend against...
is a set of steel tongs.

You go onto retrogaming Reddit and they’re like Boomers who only listen to the same hundred songs that were playing when they went to school. Some of the least adventurous people around. They’re like final fantasy fans who’d never played Romancing Saga until square rereleased them on switch.

At the Brookfield Zoo holding Mold-A-Rama model from a machine that probably produced the same model penguin I had from forty years ago.
Weirdly waxy feeling and quite brittle

I saw a few people describe Curtis Yarvin as "dumb," despite his reputation as the far-seeing philosopher-king who's inspired Peter Thiel, JD Vance, & many on the New Right. So I did some reading and, well, yikes, "dumb" is an understatement. He's just Lou Dobbs w/ bigger words. For example...

At SeaTac - the "Sky Gamerz" bar opened after a year or so of having this rather sad looking AI generated photo of people having fun.
Q: "What makes it a gamers bar?"
A: "I see Atari VCS/2600's mounted on the wall with non playable or fake games."
Q: "Anything else?"
A: "n-no, not really"

8 PM at the opening of Voodoo donut, 30 minute line. Best of Luck, guys.

Except Seattle’s Capitol Hill has Mighty O Donut, General Porpoise, Top Pot, Mochi Dough, NuFlours, Half N Half Donut, not to mention a dozen other croissant and bagel bakeries - all within a twenty minute walk.
