If any Democrat in the Senate votes to fund ICE, they are voting for the summary execution of American citizens. It’s really that simple.
Reminder: DHS legislation that funds ICE at current levels without policy restrictions is in the Senate and needs 60 votes to pass. Deadline is next Friday.

Gaming doesn’t count as screen time. Gaming is books. Unless it’s on your phone - that is screen time. Movies are books unless they are Marvel, who produce screen time. Television is screen time.

huge part of this is the built environment imo. my high school was built in the 2000s and it was physically impossible to walk anywhere but the neighboring elementary school and a cow pasture. i worked at a high school built in the 1930s surrounded by houses and a mile from coffee shops etc downtown
An underrated factor in "why don't people in wealthy societies have more kids" is changing societal norms that now expect even older kids to be chaperoned by an adult any time they are in public, and to be chauffeured by a parent as their only means of transportation
Older generations spent a lot less time parenting. Millennial dads spend nearly as much time parenting as Boomer moms did. Millennial and Gen X moms way more.
