Ended our day with the picture book biography Blips on a Screen. This one is always a hit with my 5th graders. It is hard for them to imagine a life without video games being played on television.

Easy to see why this one is getting to much buzz. Wow! I’ll be reading BROKEN aloud to kids for the rest of my career. It is just sooooooooo darn good. A read aloud gem!!

Always fascinated by the conversations my class has when I read A Walk in the Words aloud. This year’s class spent a lot of time talking about the Hall of Fame for slow readers. They were blow away by the people featured on that page.
