18 months ago he was scouted for solihull moors academy, at the time we thought he doesn’t have the skills or the emotional capacity to deal with it so we declined and didn’t tell him. this weekend his team beat them. he won POTM for both his saturday and sunday teams

im so proud of this kid, 2 weeks ago he didn’t want to leave the house because the fear of embarrassing himself or letting his team down. some of his worst ASD traits are self doubt and anxiety. he’s so good and enjoys it so much, it’s hard to see him struggle
