I never learn my lesson to check the published year on Marvel sketch covers. This one was from 2012 and Marvel’s early blank covers were made with terrible paper that was too slick. Inks and colors don’t blend well on them and instead smear into an ugly mess. INTO THE TRASH YOU GO!!!

Frank Grillo. He came into my shop with his son multiple times. He was the absolute nicest guy to everyone every time. Kind of ironic that he’s a trained fighter that could end me in two seconds, but instead has a smile for everybody.
