Albuquerque citizen who is super-enthused about what Mayor Tim Keller has achieved in 8 years and will achieve in the next 4 years if we put him back in to keep leading Albuquerque's comeback. #ABQ #Burque

Hourly wages and salaries in #Albuquerque rose:

18.2% in the first 6 years of the second & third terms of Mayor Marty Chavez.

9.6% in the first 6 years that Richard Berry was Mayor.

33.9% in our first 6 years with the economic leadership of Mayor Tim Keller.

“Who gave them permission to feed the homeless at all?”

33%: Uses of force by our police that were unjustified when Darren White led APD.

3.7%: Uses of force that are out of policy with the leadership of
@mayorkeller.bsky.social.

Tim Keller has us down to about 25 a year. Darren White would take us back up to about 250 a year.

Our choice, Burque.

2017: We elected Tim Keller Mayor first & foremost to reform our police dept. after years of lawless violence against us.

2025: In the 8 years since Tim Keller took office as our Mayor, no unarmed person has been shot by a police officer. Not one.

Maybe that leadership challenge grayed him a bit.

When he was overseeing APD in 2010 and 2011, Darren White told our police officers to "take the gloves off" when dealing with the homeless. They not only arrested far too many homeless people; they arrested the volunteers who were feeding them. Never again, Albuquerque, never again.

840 people will move into 240 affordable apartments at Tierra Linda next June. 448 people will move into new homes at West Mesa Ridge. And about 140 people will move into affordable apartments in the old Wells Fargo Bldg. around early 2027. That’s leadership. That’s @mayorkeller.bsky.social. #ABQ

When Darren White led APD, 33% of force used by police was unjustified. @mayorkeller.bsky.social has brought out-of-policy use of force down to 3.7%. White promises to unshackle the police again. Next 4 years, that'd be 1,000 unjustified uses of police force instead of 100. Choose wisely, Burque.

Immediately upon Darren White assuming leadership of APD in 2009, the 5 worst years in APD history began -- more than 5 years of unjustified use of force. At least 25% of the 1,900 use-of-force actions by our police officers from 2009 to early 2014 were found by DoJ to be unjustified.

From 2009 to 2011, Darren White did nothing to reform APD police culture, conduct, policies, supervision, or oversight. This led to $60 million in lawsuit payouts and $40 million in DoJ Consent Decree compliance costs - a staggering $100 million billed to and paid for by Albuquerque taxpayers.

This is Day One Darren on Day Two. Darren White's promise to end homelessness on Day One is the biggest insult ever hurled against the voters of #Albuquerque. On Day One he'll put 200 homeless in a jail cell (that's all we've got vacant). On Day Two he'll wonder what he can do with the other 4,800.

@mayorkeller.bsky.social has boosted spending on services for the homeless 7-fold from $3.6m to $25m. Plus more mental health services & housing. He's enforcing illegal activity by the homeless about as much as state law allows him to. And he'll use $23m to move 1,000 more to a bed by summer. #ABQ

NM is at $12 for our minimum wage. Santa Fe is at $15 and
Mayor Webber proposes $17.50. It's hard to pay the rent on $12.
@mayorkeller.bsky.social would take us to $15 here in #Burque. $500 more a month. If our City Council says no to $15, let's put $16 on the ballot in #ABQ in 2027.
