Big safety upgrade on Carlisle at the Hahn Arroyo. Our new HAWK signal helps pedestrians cross safely. When the light turns red, drivers must stop. A safer, more walkable Albuquerque starts here.

Nate’s story shows how recovery and second chances go hand in hand. After staying at Gateway Recovery, he joined Better Way Forward, became a Duke City Ambassador, and is now rebuilding his life. Real progress happens when we work together as one Albuquerque.

The new book “Acequias of Albuquerque: Walking Ancient Waterways” has a nifty juxtaposition of words on its front cover. The “ancient waterways” subtitle in English is a description of acequias.
'Acequias of Albuquerque' looks at the history behind the waterways and the ecosystem around them

In the first 6 years @mayorkeller.bsky.social was our Mayor, homelessness in our city did rise 94%. But it's easy to find the cause: In those same 6 years, meth deaths in our state rose 200% and fentanyl deaths skyrocketed 894%. Tim Keller
is doing the best job anyone can do.

Mamdani got this from #Albuquerque and
@mayorkeller.bsky.social, who has built up the best 988 response system in the nation from scratch - w/ trained responders who have their own Academy and are as well-trained as our police. That's leadership. Tim Keller is an awesome Mayor!
The NYPD now responds to hundreds of thousands of mental health calls every year, slowing response times for other emergencies.

We can deploy trained public health workers and allow cops to focus on the serious crimes that too often go unresolved.

I joined our community at the No Kings protest in Albuquerque to stand up for a core American principle: no kings, no absolute power. Proud to see so many voices united for nonviolence, civic action, and the power of the people to shape our future.

Yesterday we celebrated 13 AFR members earning promotions to company and chief officer ranks. Behind every badge is a story of service and strength. I’m proud to stand behind these leaders and the crews recognized for lifesaving actions. You embody what it means to protect ABQ.

The Trump Administration asked airports to play a political TSA video, but our airports aren’t the place for partisan messages. At the Sunport, our focus stays where it belongs, on safety, security, and making sure everyone has a good travel experience.

The Westgate Community Center turned an empty lot into a hub for learning, play, and connection. Activity rooms, a fitness space, a game room, and a playground give Southwest Mesa families long awaited resources and opportunities. This is Real Work, Real Progress.
