For third straight year, firearms killed more children and teens than any other cause including car crashes and cancer

Look, we can use Bluesky as a tool for catharsis -- vent: post about the despicable, crazy stuff Trump, Musk and their minions are doing, adding appropriate emojis 🤬😪. Or we can use this platform to plan our response, form our army, and coordinate our actions. I'd like to be involved in the latter.

Just that same old lie

Rep. Buddy Carter: "We have to have the SAVE Act. I'm from Georgia. Don't forget what we've been through in 2020, when President Trump won that election but it was stolen from him."

"Do away with it?" You mean Democracy?
NBC: The SAVE Act doesn't say anything about who counts votes, which has always been local. Why does Trump keep talking about the federal govt counting votes?

LEAVITT: In states like CA or places like NYC, non-citizens are allowed to vote in local elections. The federal govt should do away w/ it

Senator Lisa Murkowski, Republican of Alaska, said on social media that her party had long opposed federalizing elections and that she continued to do so.

“Ensuring public trust in our elections is at the core of our democracy, but federal overreach is not how we achieve this.”

Still, Trump showed other potential “enemies within” that he’ll come after them, because he’s all powerful and immune, and an ass.
BREAKING: @carolleonnig.bsky.social reports a federal grand jury in Washington, D.C. declined to indict Sens. Mark Kelly and Elissa Slotkin on charges of seditious conspiracy Tuesday, according to a person familiar with the proceedings.

When I got the contract to write a history of concentration camps in 2014, I hoped to keep the US from ending up here. That didn't work out! But now it's critical to understand how much is already in process and the enormity of what's coming. The sooner we act to stop it, the more people we'll save.

“This is not a drill”
I and millions of Americans believe exactly the same thing Kasparov does.

Too many troops, too many new prisons, too much money not under Congressional supervision.

We're not just witnessing a mass deportation scheme anymore.

This is something significantly bigger and scarier.

Pirro should be impeached just for attempting to get an indictment against members of Congress for speech.

Her incompetence is actually useful right now because it negates her malevolence.
