From ZX Spectrum beeps to symphonic gothic soundscapes: The original Heavy on the Magick (1986) theme (linked in comments) reimagined as background music for my attempt at playing this one-of-a-kind adventure from another era.
My dad got rid of our NASCOM 1 at some point in the 80s. It was feeble and pointless, but an interesting curiosity. The one I regret selling was my Amiga 500. Doh!
Posted a question on BlueSky (with relevant hashtags) and got zero interaction. Posted the same question in the appropriate Facebook group and got 20 replies within an hour. Must be a much bigger retrogaming crowd there. It's a shame because I hate Meta's business ethics and Facebook's UX sucks.
Anyone used a SCART to HDMI converter to connect an Amiga with a modern TV or monitor? (Via an RGB-to-SCART lead, obvs.) £30. Bargain or too cheap to be good? #Amiga#RetroGaming
However! I can't get a picture from the Amiga 1200 out of the RetroScaler. Composite worked for the C64 but for some reason not for the Amiga. Alan tried to help but frankly he's useless. Any ideas how to get it working? #Amiga#RetroGaming
I bought one of those cheapo upscalers, and you know what? It's not as bad as I was expecting. There's a ringing endorsement! Tried it with s-video and composite on a stock C64c and my oldest breadbin with its Copperdragon modulator replacement, which did look better. #C64#RetroGaming
