Amazon's dynamic pricing is terribly inconvenient. TheJoystick that came with my TheC64 is a flimsy piece of junk, so I want to take a gamble on this version. I'll wait and see if the price falls again.

I think Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger has been on TV every single Boxing Day since 1980 and I'm here for it.

Everyone posting about getting their C64 Ultimate is reminding me of when broadband started taking off and I still had dial-up. #C64

Just watching Jean Michel Jarre playing with his laser harp. Why don't more musicians play laser harps? Are these skills lost to history?

What can you do with an 8-bit, 0.985MHz computer from 1982 with 16 hard-coded colors? You could do this. FUN FACT: The graphics artist here — PAL from Offence — is currently working with us on an upcoming version of AmigaVision. www.youtube.com/watch?v=11tL...

Copilot AI lied to me again today. Repeatedly.

I was naïve to think it could write some code.

But no. It's like trying to interview an idiot sociopath.

Posted a question on BlueSky (with relevant hashtags) and got zero interaction. Posted the same question in the appropriate Facebook group and got 20 replies within an hour. Must be a much bigger retrogaming crowd there. It's a shame because I hate Meta's business ethics and Facebook's UX sucks.

I bought one of those cheapo upscalers, and you know what? It's not as bad as I was expecting. There's a ringing endorsement! Tried it with s-video and composite on a stock C64c and my oldest breadbin with its Copperdragon modulator replacement, which did look better. #C64 #RetroGaming

Great to see Nick Poole of UKIE championing retro games on BBC Breakfast this morning. Donkey Kong, Tomb Raider and even Gods (my personal favourite) appeared.
