It's completely mind-boggling trying to understand the decision makers behind Secret Lair these days. This product would normally be right up my alley-- I've been a green mage since I opened a Force of Nature from an Unlimited starter deck in 1994, and I'd have *LOVED* these cards with 1/x

When I first saw Tam, Mindful First-Year I was immediately reminded of one of my favorite cards from the old days of EDH-- Scuttlemutt! While there aren't enough Vivid cards to build an entire theme around, I added in Clones and a little color-hacking to round it out ⤵️

So weird to have a Pro Tour here in my hometown of Richmond but no accompanying Magicfest or any way to spectate or play for the occasion, but I suppose they didn't want to step on the Magic Spotlight/SCGCON Richmond in a month. Just really odd scheduling timing.

Old school EDH flashback: Terastadon was played ALOT in the early days. I remember a game where I played it, someone Cloned it, and another player said Hold My Beer and cast Rite of Replication kicked on it and soon the battlefield was just a bunch of Elephants
