I've only had a bag stolen once and that was about 18 years ago from a pub. It's ridiculous that people think there is some massive crime wave. There is crime in every major city of the world FFS. Just be aware of your surroundings.

Day 6 of back pain. I don't work on a Friday so I've been trying to rest. Pain has eased off but moved towards the hip/groin area. I've got a shit load of chores to do today/this weekend too. When I get flares like this it usually lasts a day or two - never this long. Ugh... I'm so done with this 😭

Woke up to find one of the cats had thrown up all over the foot of the bed. Whilst I was obviously sleeping (with earplugs). I have a strong suspicion of which one it was too... Oh well, it's bedding change day anyway. At least I didn't step in it I suppose.

Sometimes I wish they'd legalise Cannabis in the UK. That way I wouldn't have to rely on Ibuprofen and opiats co-codamol which don't even touch the pain I'm in after f**king up my back last weekend. Alas, it's still illegal and I'm still taking strong painkillers and using heat patches.

in his later years due to abuse from my mum who became ill and the alcohol he drank to cope before/after her death, but when I was a kid he was the best Dad and always stood up for me - going against her and getting me remote control cars, scaletric and a sega megadrive but a Gameboy was the one..

April I got a Lego voucher for my birthday from my work and hubby has just used his VIP points to top it up to get me a Lego Gameboy. I begged for a Gameboy for years as a kid but mum always said "No, you're a girl" - the same reason I never got Lego. Now I will say my Dad was a c**t...

Love the longer days where I'm home before sunset and still have energy to do things. I'm not a fan of dark nights/evenings - especially as I have to drive for work and night driving is horrid and gives me headaches from the super bright headlights.
