Wrote a thing for the Neruromyths Zine, supported by the Royal Society of Literature! My entry is The Eel, a mermaid/sea monster story that’s sat in my thoughts for 10+ years. It’s close to my heart, and to my understanding of who I am.

This was very very fun to write, but an absolute nightmare to try and explain using our usual branching dialogue scripts, there were just too many pieces in the air! Getting it mapped out in twine helped massively!

I realised this morning that I played Yakuza Zero in May of this year.

I’ve since completed Kiwami, yakuza 4, yakuza pirates in Hawaii, and I’m now playing ishin. kiwami 2 and yakuza 5 are waiting for me on steam.

It’s hard to believe this life altering cataclysm only started in May.
