Realizing why I'm so confident in my art and so anxious about everything else. My approach to pretty much everything has been to start with a terrible first draft and iterate until it's good. I keep wanting to iterate on things that only happen once

There's a glowing platform with a target on it, and dangerous flowers moving on lines. Fighting bandits in a fancy mansion. The options are "Research", "Book Club", and "Heal" In a pirate ship. A pirate is saying "Entire islands fell to our captain's wrath. Ye don't want to cross him."

Hey, my platformer/RPG/adventure game thing "Sol and the Endless Orbit" is getting a new demo in a few days... That's pretty cool...
Protagonist Sol rudely walks on a table. Crates and condiments (the 2 most important parts of any game) are nearby. There's a ferris wheel in the background but you can't ride it, 0/10 game (...just kidding I think this game is actually kind of good and I would appreciate if you tried it)

Lily: What do you mean, "constant accusations"?! You keep blaming ME for— Lily: Oh, so this is about making you sleep on the floor, huh? Do you know how hard it is to imagine an entire bed? Antonio: I feel like I'm stepping into some drama I'd rather not be involved in. Lily: Anty, look, quick! My imaginary friend Emily slept on her hair funny! Antonio: There's nothing there. Lily: Yeah, maybe SOMEONE should try being real for once. Lily: "Maybe I should get real friends"? YOU'RE one to talk! Antonio: I think your imaginary friend might be cooler than you are. Antonio: I haven't heard you talk about Emily in a while. What's going on? Lily: We turned from imaginary friends to imaginary enemies, and had a fight. Lily: Using my godlike power over her, I shrunk her to the size of a flea and cursed her to walk the earth alone for eternity. Antonio: Yeesh. Remind me to never become your imaginary friend. Lily: Oh, don't worry, applications are closed. Antonio: I'm glad to hear that, for imaginary people's sake. Lily: Plus, I'd have to turn you imaginary first. It's a tough process. Emily wasn't a fan.
