One of the strangest aspects of aging that they don't warn you about is watching as history gets rewritten right in front of your face and people 20 years younger than you confidently tell you about something you lived through and get it completely wrong.

I have pretty good calibration on my drawing monitors, the issue is how it appears on other people's screens (ie, potential players) and most non-art people do not calibrate their devices meticulously. OLEDs are hypersaturated as default setting, which most people don't really bother to change

"but i like the palette on the right better" don't worry sometimes i use those colors intentionally too, it's just that we can never get what we want
