Staff and students came together early on a Friday morning to send us into negotiations. Our @leicesterucu.bsky.social community is amazing! Shame our managers were not willing to actually negotiate. At least they listened and they certainly heard the crowd behind us! The strike continues.

New modelling study suggests the deglacial radiocarbon seesaw was driven by weaker Antarctic overturning + lower Southern Ocean reservoir age — not stronger circulation.

Both poles had sluggish deep water flow.

Coral reefs with high ecological integrity are able to quickly recover from extreme climate impacts. In our new study in Coral Reefs, we found high integrity Fiji reefs were able to rebound rapidly following a category 5 cyclone.
