Resharing an article that came out of protesting amid warnings of violent reprisal and reading Lord of the Rings. I've been thinking a lot the past few days about the people showing tremendous bravery despite danger, the power of solidarity and working toward an end you might not get to see.
Have y'all heard about this reading thing? I've got a new post about finding Lord of the Rings during historic times, seeing ourselves in the context of history and finding the drive to do the thing even though you wish it need not happened in your time.

All signs point to severe constipation. He sniffs at food and comes when I shake the bag, but he doesn’t eat. None of the three foods we tried.
Since doc saw what appeared to be litter on his xrays, I’m leaning on that too.
Gonna see what we can get to help him.

I think we may need to go to the emergency vet again. While he nibbled on some food yesterday, he seems to be paying no attention to it at all right now. Even with the appetite stimulants.
He is more alert, but shows no interest in anything other than sleep 😔
