"Internalized transphobia" is a pretty interesting idea. It weaponized the innate and justifiable insecurity that develops from pretending to be the opposite sex, justifying deeper commitments to social and medical transition. The warning signal gets misinterpreted; our doubts become our guidance.

I have counseled my NYC friends to focus more on promoting candidates they like and respect, because they are presently doing for Mamdani what antifa has done for Ngo. Am I blaming evil on the people fighting evil, or am I suggesting that we should not deify our opponents?

The young males who were puberty-blocked and surgically modified to resemble girls are not thriving. We should have the courage to understand what's happening.

Antifa created Andy Ngo. They elevated him, paid tribute to him, thought about him constantly, and made him into a phenomenon. Some people associated with Antifa understand this, I'm certain.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to let me know, Mr. Bennus.

Oh well! I guess if I'm going to be treated like a pariah I should go hang out with the other pariahs. That's fine, transitioning in the 90s prepared me well for such eventualities.

Did you know that in 1492 Spain ejected all of its Jews? In an actual genocide? Hmmm... I appreciate you bringing up the reference, even if you didn't mean to!

I hope that your criticisms of Turkey, Hungary, Bangladesh, Japan, Poland, Mongolia... heck, Iceland, are not too far behind.

I have had the son of a Palestinian immigrant on my podcast as a guest to discuss perspectives critical of Israel. He has done me a tremendous favor in the world that I can never repay. You actually do not understand what I think of people because your vision is distorted. Be well.
corinnacohn.bsky.social
"The People, Israel, live" is not a genocidal slogan. You have distorted thinking. I hope you get better. Be well.

Sora 2 is amazingly good.

Don't worry, I think I have a pretty good idea of your opinions on that matter. I do however appreciate you sharing some of your views and referring the Schotten article. I did skim it, but it's not the sort of material I care to spend a lot of time reading.
corinnacohn.bsky.social
I doubt you believe that.
corinnacohn.bsky.social
I wish I could show you how you're coming off. You have a worldview—to which you're entitled—but you think that I'm ignorant, fascist, evil, etc because I don't share your worldview. I have my own, but you don't think I'm entitled to it. Who is the fascist here?

I don't honor or respect the UN. I suppose that's partly due to my anti-authoritarian nature: it makes me dubious of central authority, and who pretends harder than anyone else that it has authority than the UN? I'd kindly ask you to interrogate my beliefs than assign them, though.

"That doesn't put colonization above criticism." Well, here's where the criticism of colonization goes.

I'll take a look, but I'm not optimistic.

I want peace for Palestinians and for Israelis alike, and I'm hopeful that today is a turning point for the region. I have no desire to "take away your hormones," as I assume you're an adult and that you have the ability to make informed choices. You think you know me, but you don't.
corinnacohn.bsky.social
The irony is that I am not an authoritarian of any stripe, but that you very likely are, and that your tantrum is in reaction to my opposition to the brand of totalitarian ideology you support. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What, in your opinion, constitutes an important work in "political theory?" I have studied a modest amount of political theory (Kenneth Arrow, Tiebout, etc), and even a little bit of Marx (because I had to). Would you like to recommend who has informed your views?
corinnacohn.bsky.social
Well, there's your viewpoint, which is that I'm a ... fascist lapdog? Or something? I realize there's a collectivist mentality in the trans community, and that we're all meant to believe we're being genocided, etc, etc. I don't think there's a good argument for adopting that viewpoint.
corinnacohn.bsky.social
Imagine if there are other explanations than the one to which you're attached.
corinnacohn.bsky.social
I disagree with your comparisons, and you’re not even addressing the issue around there TLL malfeasance OR the communities indifference/ignorance.

Thanks for reading it. I’m sorry that was your takeaway. There was no accountability for Trans Lifeline an anywhere, and as we know now, there ought to have been. Has it not been KF, it would have been nowhere. That’s the point.
