#NEWS: Two people have been issued Fixed Penalty Notices after a covert camera caught them dumping rubbish in a Cornish layby.

Our Community Protection team installed the camera following multiple reports of fly-tipping in a rural lane near Mevagissey.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service is recruiting on-call firefighters.

Applicants must be 18 or over and live or work within five minutes of their local fire station.

Successful applicants will receive full training.

Over 400,000 journeys have been made, with The Moor in Falmouth and Newquay Railway Station the most popular locations.

Just two years ago, nearly 50 families were in this situation.
