I think the problem is "trying to please all of the people all of the time", which results in the blandness.
Labour need to realise that some people aren't worth pleasing (the oligarch types in particular) and should aim for "doing what's best for most" instead.

I've started playing Borderlands 4 (on PS5), & I am NOT a fan of the changed in-game menu system 🤮
