Anything's fine, as long as it's punk. The aesthetic flavor may change, but the antiauthoritarian message remains.
Apparently there are fascists in the government, if that's threatening. Good information for the courts. Thanks for sharing, Johnson.
This feels like a good time to mention this. I'm sure it can only go well for the prosecution. 😂

Judges don’t trust DOJ anymore

That's simple enough, but is that all?
I'd like that too, but what I meant to ask is, what do we want from Twitch? Arrest and prosecution are of course not in their power.

If we mean preventative measures, it's easy to imagine how they could have done a better job, but this is talking about the reaction after an incident.
What were you hoping for, a permanent ban?
I haven't played the games, but I recall hearing that the player doesn't get a choice in having these "loans". Is there any truth to that?
One could easily be charged with imprisonment or kidnapping and have to argue a legal defense that it was a justified, citizen's arrest.

I'm open to learning otherwise, if you have any sources. I don't have personal experience with this; I've only read the laws.
Eject, arguably, yes, at least a court would probably allow it.

Detain, I don't believe that. At least for Wisconsin, having read the statutes, I can tell you that there are no special privileges for "security" people, only cops. I expect most states have similar laws.
Committing a citizen's arrest is legally risky. There's generally a burden of proving a reasonable person would agree a felony was in progress, and the specifics vary by state. Maybe the fellow they hired didn't want to take on that responsibility, but that's just a guess.
Visually, it's striking and communicative without being overly specific. I recall the creeping realization of what it meant in context as I made sense of its form. I love it, in that respect. As a monster design, it's a delight. I don't think I want one on my desk, but I can understand wanting.

This is not passing judgement upon anyone else for wanting to customize their interfaces, though. I'm just reflecting upon how I've changed over time. In Windows XP, I used to replace uxtheme.dll so I could load custom themes. Today I usually just try to get along with the defaults in everything.
Hmm. Yeah, I can imagine wanting those two gone. I'm at the stage of life where I just kind of ignore anything I don't make use of and isn't getting in the way. In my work and home life, I use so many different operating systems and programs that I'd go nuts if I tried to declutter everything I use.
Honestly, as a habitual Windows user, I'm not even sure what clutter people want to get rid of. There's OneDrive, but you can just kind of not turn that on if you don't want to use it. There are a couple of start menu "suggestions" you can delete. What are people going through real effort to remove?
What's he afraid of, that we'll find out he's gay? Given how hard he's fighting to keep Epstein's files from the public, I figure there's a bigger secret of his to be found.
People are still out there pretending that Republicans aren't all like that. It's fucking dumb.
If they could get chat bots to do decent programming, they're far ahead of me, because I can't get them to do shit that any junior dev couldn't do, if quicker. But we know by the comments and reviews of these bots that that's a fantasy; the problem lies not with me.
If the mission doesn't want to be fucked, it shouldn't be twerking so seductively.
I guess that talk about Biden's dementia was true after all.
It's a sobering reminder that every society has terrible aspects. And yet every society has people in it who want to increase these terrible aspects or who want to blame all of their problems on immigrants.
As a reminder for the audience, it is he who is keeping it shut down. This is the most obvious kind of blaming someone else who has nothing to do with it.

I don't feel like Dante Alighieri would feel any particular way about this because I don't think he would have the depth of context and understanding necessary to parse what he was seeing here. But I'd be happy to explain it to him.
