Weekly Movie: BUGONIA: WOW! Awesome flick, weird, stressful and so well acted! More like a play as the majority of it takes place in one location but as it builds, the more you get pulled in! Kudos to Emma Stone & Jesse Plemons, they really brought their a-game for this one!

Weekly Movie: THE RUNNING MAN (2025): I loved the original & liked this update, despite the horrid reviews & lousy box-office. Simply put, this was fun, nothing more and nothing less. It’s not a remake, think of it more as a modernized update of the OG Stephen King book. A solid popcorn movie.

Abigail continues to do well in her healing journey. Still limping but wounds have healed and the cone/donut is off. It’s the little victories! 👍 #puppers 🐕‍🦺

Weekly Movie: TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME (1992): I just rewatched the OG & Showtime sequel series (both great) so thought I should revisit the Twin Peaks flick too. If you love this world, then this is more weird awesomeness to enjoy! FIRE still holds up! It’s still a “damn fine cup of coffee”!

Weekly Movie: THE RIP (2026): An awesome, old-school, good cop/bad cop thriller with a killer cast (Damon & Affleck), great writing & directing from Joe Carnahan (Boss Level) and a kick-ass score from my bud Clinton Shorter (Copshop). Tense, engaging and just a solid good time at the movies!

Abigail continues along the slow & steady road to recovery. Right leg is taking a lot longer to heal but it makes sense as it had more work done. Getting up is still work but general walking is improving and her spirit & appetite are great!

Weekly Movie: 28 YEARS LATER (2025): I loved 28 DAYS LATER, it was fresh, fun & tense. Liked the sequel, 28 WEEKS LATER & now we are here… 28 YEARS LATER. Love the world building with its cool moments & great characters (Ralph Fiennes), it’s still a fun & tense adventure. Bring on the Bone Temple!

Ninja nose kiss from Abigail, one week since surgery, she’s doing good but still has a long way to go! ❤️ #doggo

Abigail is doing well, what a 1st weekend of rest & recuperation for the #doggo ! 🐕‍🦺

Weekly Movie: EASY MONEY (1983): A Rodney Dangerfield classic & for me, a childhood classic. One of my fondest memories is watching my dad lose it at that overhead shot of the packed wedding reception in the tiny backyard. Makes me smile & that means this film will always be special to me. Dumb fun!

Someone has decided to use me as a pillow which I am totally ok with. Abigail needs to be comfortable as she heals! ❤️

OK! Good news! Abigail is out of surgery & in recovery, things went well. She is staying overnight for observation and then we can pick her up tomorrow.

Positive vibes for our #doggo Abigail who just went in for double knee surgery. I know she will do great and she’s in the best hands but that doesn’t make it any easier. Nervous dog dad over here!

Weekly Movie: WAKE UP DEAD MAN (2025): Of all the KNIVES OUT flicks, this was the most intimate & it featured the least amount of Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc on screen. That said, it’s a tight, well-acted, well-scripted mystery and continues to add to this already stellar franchise with flair!

Good morning! It’s the start of a new year! Lots of fear & stresses out there but lots of love & positivity too! I choose to focus on that, play some games and laugh as much as possible. OK 2026, let’s do this!
