So I FINALLY got to celebrate my 30th bday with my family last night (even though its a month late bc of really unfortunate life stuff).

for my bday "dinner" I wanted to remember my childhood with my favorite school cafeteria meal and a homemade blueberry cake (that was 100% experimental, btw)

shes retired but is now working for her wife as a secretary so shes not 100% free to look after my sister.

as for my sister: shes doing very well. ive been taking care of her during the weekdays while her husband is at work.

im still not sure when I can return to streaming. if I do, it'll have to be later in the evening, that is IF I have the energy to after taking care of my sister all day. 😮‍💨

as in: when I try to sing high notes, no sound comes out.
Hopefully, it's nothing permanent and will eventually go away.

I was a Soprano in my HS choir, but that was 10+ years ago. due to age and not training every day, it's been harder for me to hit the higher notes. might just be an Alto now lol.

Life Update:

It's been a few weeks since i tested positive for covid. im feeling much better now, though im still coughing a little bit bc ✨️lung damage✨️, but only really when I talk for long periods or if i laugh.

my vocal chords may have also been damaged...
