Not surprising. I only tested with English characters and only designed it with English characters in mind.

That won't be the issue. I'm guessing you installed more than 4 albums. During testing the music update I noticed that PSBBN can have issues reading files past the 3 GB mark. Hope to get a fix for that out soon.

#PSBBN Mini Update 4: New Art Downloader
The Art Downloader has been converted from JavaScript to Python, eliminating Puppeteer and Chromium dependencies that caused issues for some users. Artwork now downloads faster!

Music syncing does not mount every partition, only those that are required.

The tool I mentioned above will allow you to mount the necessary partitions.

The network adapter probably wasn't properly secured to the console. If you have boot problems, there's a troubleshooting section in the readme.

What do you want to edit? I wouldn't encourage editing anything on the APA partitions manually as the game installer does all that for you.

If you really want to mount the other partitions, there are tools for that. Check out this project www.psx-place.com/resources/ps...

archive.org is back! It had been down since around 4 PM BST for multiple users in the UK, and only users in the UK.

With the introduction of the Online Safety Act, it's concerning when sites disappear, especially if it appears to be only in the UK. Hopefully it was just a glitch.

I've tried on my phone and home broadband with multiple DNS providers, website only loads for me on a VPN. The website I link also shows multiple people in the UK experiencing issues. I can't see any official word. Hopefully it's temporary.

In other news, it looks like the Internet Archive is blocked in the UK. From the link below, I’m clearly not the only one. The site still works fine if you use a VPN.

#PSBBN Mini Update 1: Some users were getting confused when partitioning the drive. The installer now shows the OPL partition size, makes it clear you’re only partitioning the remaining space, and creates the POPS partition first.

The dialog box is not part of PSBBN, it's part of the POPS emulator which is closed source so cannot be changed.

Follow the instructions for "Patch an existing PSBBN install", this will bring you to a Linux command prompt. At that point you will be able to mount /dev/hda4 and edit the file.

Not with the current implementation. A 128 GB drive would only have room for around 5 PS2 games so it's not really worth it. That's why 200 GB is the minimum.

The readme has a section for "Legacy versions of the PSBBN Definitive Patch". It's compatible with smaller drives but lacks many features.

No, minimum is 200 GB due to the way the drive is partitioned as it's a hybrid drive with APA partitions plus exFAT for PS2 games and homebrew. The original PSBBN has a storage limit of 128 GB, Definitive Patch was designed for large drive support.

The other thing you could try is removing the puppeteer and chromium check from the script. They're used to download artwork from IGN but most artwork comes from the PSBBN art database now. I think the script should still work without them.

You could just drop the AMX file in as a replacement, update the XML and see what happens. Again, it's not something I've looked into yet.
