There are English patches available. You can make the console region free with MechaPwn. The HDD is locked to the system but progress is being made there too, it's only a matter of time.

Not something I'd be able to help you with. It's a Windows issue. The script just turns on the WSL Windows component. If that's corrupting your dive, you'll need to take it up with Microsoft.

PS1 games do not use OPL or Neutrino, they use POPStarter. There are patches for many PS1 games, including Xenogears here: www.psx-place.com/threads/hugo...

Just place the relevant .BIN files in the games VMC folder, you'll find it in __common/POPS. That should resolve the issue.

I wouldn't recommend running the extras.sh script or any of the other scripts directly as it bypassed the dependency checks and skips auto-updates

You can open an issue on GitHub and include the extras.log, perhaps that will shed some light on the situation but it seems to be isolated to your setup

I honestly have no clue what is going on. The script checks the listing from HDL Dump. When I run the script, it works for me.
