Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

News is more trusted than national news, which failed to fairly & accurately cover the mass mobilization for No Kings while often granting outsized coverage to fringe white nationalist & Tea Party protests. Same as when I worked at @nytimes.com during Iraq war protests

Apple Takes Down ICE Tracking Apps in response to Trump Pressure Campaign in yet another attack on #freespeech. I’m deeply disappointed to see yet another corporation cave without resisting. This censorship is particularly problematic given its App Store monopoly.
