Even on a surface level this is bone chilling and disgusting. Her ex probably reported her to ICE to get full custody of their son even though she's lived in the US since she was a child??? And their son is old enough to remember and be traumatized by all of this.

A woman with a family connection to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Revere, Massachusetts.
The woman, Bruna Ferreira, has an 11-year-old son with Michael Leavitt, Karoline Leavitt's brother.
Ferreira migrated with her family to the United States from Brazil as a child and is currently in custody at an ICE facility in southern Louisiana.

Tbh I know what trump said today was insane but it really doesn't move me much because he's shown how he's mostly just bark and no bite. He's throwing a fit because the economy sucks and he's being blamed for it and on the verge of being outed in the Epstein files. He's losing grasp.

that whole 'this country isn't ready for a woman president' line is really upsetting because it shows exactly how neoliberalism works, redirecting blame from issues of policy (or lack thereof) onto a flattened, vague type of sexism in a way that ultimately doesn't even challenge sexism!

Just learned the difference between negative reinforcement and positive punishment and that we've all been misusing the term and I wish I could unlearn this.

Spent the entire weekend painting ethernet cord covers to match our apartment trim and then attaching them across the apartment. I hate how much I enjoyed it. So satisfying. Now that I did such a good job concealing it I can't wait to point it out to every guest we have.

The harder Trump fights it the worse I think it is bc he sees himself as invincible. At minimum multiple damning photos over years, emails showing a mutual agreement, maybe some video footage. We know many of the victims were recruited from Mar-a-largo already, he's in deep.
This isn’t even the stuff they’re trying to actually stop from getting out.
